Policies

Cancellation Policy

Down payment and processing fee is non-refundable. We are happy to extend a credit for future stays if you cancel at least 60 days before your arrival date. If you cancel more than 60 days before your arrival date and we are able to re-rent the property for your dates at the same rate to another group, we will be happy to refund you 100% minus a $100 cancellation fee. There are NO refunds for holiday weeks and early departures, late arrivals or no-shows. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival are completely non-refundable.

Deposit Policy

50% down to reserve with balance due 30 days before arrival. We require a valid credit card on file for security deposit (in lieu of a cash deposit). We do not charge your credit card unless there is damage or missing items--we simply authorize it on the actual day of check in for the amount of $500-2500 depending on the property and keep it on file until your check out. The authorization is released at time of check out if the property is found in satisfactory condition.

You can't do much better in terms of location - Casa Salt y Sol is literally a 2 minute walk to the beach. The beach is gorgeous, quiet and great for surfing or just lounging around. The home itself is immaculate, very large and relaxing pool area. Plenty of space for large groups with quiet areas if you need a little space to work. Amazing furnishings/amenities. Ivette (the in-home 'mom') was a STAR - incredibly tasty breakfasts, keeps the home immaculate during your stay and extremely helpful with anything you may need.

If you are looking for a memorable beach vacation, this is the place for you!!!

My friends and I had an unforgettable experience staying at Casa Sal y Sol! It was our first time in Costa Rica, and we were looking for a place that was spacious, safe, and conveniently close to the beach—and this place truly had it all. The house is about 30 minutes outside of Tamarindo, and really was the perfect balance of a laid-back surfer town but also had charming restaurants and local spots. The house is very close to the beach, making it incredibly easy to run back if we forgot anything, and the beach itself was peaceful and uncrowded. Each room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. My guests and I slept great! One of the highlights of our stay was the housekeeper who came daily to tidy up and make the beds. She was incredibly friendly and also helped those of us wanting to practice our Spanish. We all agreed that this Airbnb was absolutely worth every penny. We’ll definitely be returning and recomend it to any family or friend group looking to enjoy Costa Rica!
