Our Story
A little bit about us. Owner Keith Clower was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. After high school, he interned as an electrical apprentice. He was working as an electrical estimator and project manager for Professional Electric Construction, Inc. when he decided to switch careers.
Keith attended the University of South Florida before moving to Eindhoven, The Netherlands to pursue a degree in physical therapy at The Hogeschool Eindhoven. After graduate school, Keith started a private therapy practice in Tampa. He also worked in real estate, rehabbing over 30 properties in the Tampa Bay area.
Keith moved to Costa Rica and founded Blue Water Properties in 2006. He originally wanted to build spec homes, but switched to managing properties when he saw a need there. Over ten years, the company grew to include real estate, property management and over 40 vacation rentals and tours.
In 2016, Keith left his former company to launch Grande Vacation Rentals. Grande Vacation Rentals is focused exclusively on the vacation rental market. With over a decade of experience, and background in project management, Keith knows what visitors are looking for in a Costa Rica vacation rental. We can help you make your travel dreams a reality.
