Cancellation Policy

Down payment and processing fee is non-refundable. We are happy to extend a credit for future stays if you cancel at least 60 days before your arrival date. If you cancel more than 60 days before your arrival date and we are able to re-rent the property for your dates at the same rate to another group, we will be happy to refund you 100% minus a $100 cancellation fee. There are NO refunds for holiday weeks and early departures, late arrivals or no-shows. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival are completely non-refundable.

Deposit Policy

50% down to reserve with balance due 30 days before arrival. We require a valid credit card on file for security deposit (in lieu of a cash deposit). We do not charge your credit card unless there is damage or missing items--we simply authorize it on the actual day of check in for the amount of $500-2500 depending on the property and keep it on file until your check out. The authorization is released at time of check out if the property is found in satisfactory condition.

This house is really amazing. We are a family of 4 and it was perfect for us, but it could easily fit a much larger group. The house is brand new, super clean, and has everything you could need. The pool and outdoor area are gorgeous. It’s about a 5 minute walk to a a less crowded part of the beach, and probably 10-12 minute walk to Taco Star.

Keith, Marcelo and the rest of their team are awesome. The house is maintained incredibly, and they were unbelievably helpful setting up transportation, tours and local recommendations.

We all can’t wait to come back again.

This was a wonderful place to spend time with our adult sons. We are a family that loves to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor living space is where we spent most of our time - it was so inviting and cool with lots of places to relax. We made a rule that the only way you could get in the pool the first time was via the slide:) Thank you for sharing your beautiful home- We hope to come back again!

We had a great stay at Casa Alegria. Marcello was an excellent concierge who was helpful from check-in to transportation services to house cleaning. The house had plenty of room for our family of 6! Walk to the beach, great food close by and after spending an evening in Tamarindo, we def made the right choice by staying here! Far enough away from the noise and a real piece of paradise! Already planning to return!

Spot idéal pour un endroit tranquille pas trop touristique, du moins pour l’instant.
Belle plage à 7 minutes à pied, attention au vague. Quelques bons restaurants a proximité. À noter que les 2 chambres à côté de la piscine ne communiquent pas avec le reste de la maison part l’intérieur.
House keeping supposément inclus 2 fois par semaine, mais aucun ménage fais durant notre séjour. Construction d’une maison à proximité, un peu bruyant.

We had a great stay at this home! The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk to a beautiful beach. The property is gated, spacious, and was perfect for our family of six. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the pool and outdoor kitchen area made for a great place to relax. The cleaning service came twice during our stay and did a wonderful job, the internet was fast, and the showers had strong water pressure, big pluses all around.
There were a few hiccups to note. We had some electrical issues with breakers tripping multiple times in the back bedrooms, and during a power outage the front gate wouldn't open without a manual key, which led to us having to jump the fence and take an expensive Uber ride to catch our 7am fishing charte. The hot tub didn’t get hot (would’ve been helpful to clarify that in the listing), and we couldn’t control when water flowed down the slide. There was also no house manual or instructions, which made things like ligh
