Experience total luxury and comfort while surrounded by the tropical dry forest and nearby Las Baulas National Park. Experience wonderful Pacific Ocean and forest views from your private infinity edge pool and outdoor living area. Hear the local Howler monkeys and watch various wildlife species as they wind their way through the tropical dry forest surrounding Casa Tinto.
This newer, 4-Bedroom, 4.5-bathroom single level, ocean view home is located about one hour from the Liberia International Airport. Casa Tinto is a beautiful home that features an amazing master suite and bath complete with a soaking tub and spacious walk-in shower. The remaining bedrooms all come with en-suite bathrooms and beds with fine linens to sleep on after a full day of surfing, fishing, or undertaking any of the many other fun things to do in our area. The home also provides a bath with access to the pool area allowing guests facilities without entering the house.
The home includes high speed internet, a 65” smart TV, and a SONOS sound system. Guests have access to a full-sized washer and dryer in the laundry room. The gourmet kitchen features a breakfast bar, huge island, stainless steel appliances, oversized refrigerator, wood cabinetry and granite countertops. The main living, dining and kitchen area are an "open" concept design with volume ceilings, wood beams and amazing ocean views from the interior social area. The large terrace outside the sliding glass doors has pool loungers, sofa area and a dining table next to your own personal outdoor kitchen complete with oven. Casa Tinto boasts an amazing infinity edge pool with million-dollar sunset views! There are surf racks, outdoor showers, and a ping-pong table to enjoy as well. All of this while surrounded in a pristine jungle environment amongst nature and within a private gated entry controlled via remote or keypad. Besides the beach in Grande, Casa Tinto is within a short drive of 20 minutes or less of many other beautiful beaches. Ask your personal concierge for details and directions. This property sits at a higher elevation towards the back of the lot offering the best ocean, mountain, and valley views around. This ocean view home is located within a small residential area of Playa Grande with full-time residents on both sides, so we ask to keep late noise (after 10p and before 6a) to a minimum. Nearby amenities include a gym and yoga studio, tennis, hiking/biking trails, restaurants/bars and much more. Housekeeping services are included twice with weekly stays or longer. Additional housekeeping is available. Inquire with your concierge for details.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
Down payment and processing fee is non-refundable. We are happy to extend a credit for future stays if you cancel at least 60 days before your arrival date. If you cancel more than 60 days before your arrival date and we are able to re-rent the property for your dates at the same rate to another group, we will be happy to refund you 100% minus a $100 cancellation fee. There are NO refunds for holiday weeks and early departures, late arrivals or no-shows. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival are completely non-refundable.
Deposit Policy
50% down to reserve with balance due 30 days before arrival. We require a valid credit card on file for security deposit (in lieu of a cash deposit). We do not charge your credit card unless there is damage or missing items--we simply authorize it on the actual day of check in for the amount of $500-2500 depending on the property and keep it on file until your check out. The authorization is released at time of check out if the property is found in satisfactory condition.

This place was everything I wanted in a location for my first getaway in 3 years. The pool and views of the sunset every night were everything you could have asked for and more. The team we were in contact with helped every time we needed an answer on something, especially Marcelo our concierge. Strongly recommend if you are taking a tour anywhere you request for our guide Daniel, as he was spectacular. This was the perfect location to stay if you don’t want the hustle and bustle of a tourist place like Tamarindo, but we were close enough to visit over there as well which was great. I think this may become a yearly retreat for us going forward.

Magnificent place overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Sunsets by the infinity pool are incredible! Close to great beaches, restaurants and short drive to Tamarindo & Playa Flamingo.
We had 8 people in our group and it was absolutely perfect !!
Home is amazing, view is better than expected. It fits perfectly for two families. Location is great, close to Playa Grande where you can walk along the beach for miles. There is a very nice restaurant close by, open from breakfast to dinner. You need a 4wheel drive car to go around but it worth to spend time driving to Volcanoes area

Casa Tinto is the perfect setup— modern, luxurious, and spacious! My group of six (6) never felt cramped and slept comfortably. The views are stunning. The house overlooks lush treetops and the beautiful Pacific. We especially enjoyed spending our mornings by the pool and outdoor kitchen area, listening to the waves crash and the whooping barks of the howlers. Several mornings we had a visit from Mia—our new friend and neighbor’s dog that we enjoyed so, so much.
The location is spot on! There are a handful of great eateries to choose from, as well as beaches and neighboring towns to explore. We loved the fresh juices at Pots n Bowls, the pizza at El Huertos and the appetizers at Manguito. We also enjoyed body surfing at Grande and our beach trip to Conchal.
Concierge was very helpful and accommodating. They even had cold, filtered water upon arrival for us, along with coffee fully stocked. These touches were much appreciated!
Overall, a positive experience. I could keep going on!

Wow! What a stunning place. The view was spectacular, the place was beautifully laid out with simple yet stylish furnishings, and the pool was to die for. We were a group of 9 and it never felt cramped. I asked our group if we could come up with any complaints of the place and we truly couldn’t. Hopefully we’ll come back.

This place was so fun, the sunsets are to die for, the pool was amazing. Loved our time although it was too short will definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The view was amazing! The house was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was really well stocked. We loved relaxing in the pool (which is bigger than it looks in the pictures) and the outdoor space. There are two en suite bedrooms on each side of the house, so there was plenty of privacy for everyone. Beds were comfortable. The pictures are accurate (some things like the computer/desk, gaming chair, and some of the other personal things in the bedroom pictures are not there, which was good).
Marcelo, the concierge, arranged our airport transfers and met us at check in to go over things. He had our rental car brought to the house shortly after we arrived (reserve in advance), which was really nice and easy after a long day of travel (you do need AWD, as you do for much of Costa Rica). He quickly answered any questions we had. Being one of, if not the first renters, there were a few small things to work out, but he resolved things pretty quickly. Marcelo will help arrange activities. We really enjoyed the surf lessons with Onda (Coki and Javi) right down the street. The lovely uncrowded beach is only about three minutes by car. Keith was quick to respond when looking to book.
Great location and felt safe. It is not a far drive to Playa Flamingo (which we really enjoyed) and Tamarindo (which is a little more touristy, but also fun). Both restaurants down the hill from the house were great (El'Huerto and Pots and Bowls).
We would stay here again.
